Brendon Gass

Brendon Gass

Brendon has a deep understanding of how to leverage HR and talent management software to improve business performance. Possessing a long-term interest in how software can be used to improve enterprise productivity and people management, Brendon started his career in research and development working with data collection, database design and data management.

He later progressed to engineering project management at which time he founded a successful cell tower manufacturing business. He then moved into HR and talent management ten years ago and spent six of those years as Managing Director of a prominent HR software and consulting firm.

Brendon has extensive South African business solutions experience including, sales, business consulting and product development.

Antoinette Nunn

Antoinette Nunn

Antoinette has more than a decade of experience in senior roles within the South African talent management solutions industry. She began her career in a variety of HR, finance and management roles within the engineering, hospitality and property industries.

A South African national, she has a global perspective having previously worked in the United States, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, and later Cape Town and Pertoria. Prior to co-founding Ascendia, Antoinette spent six years in a management capacity with a successful South African HR software solutions firm.

Debra Nortjé

Debra Nortjé

Debra has more than 13 years of experience as a HR consultant and talent management systems professional. Prior to full-time HR consulting, she facilitated the implementation of and led a technical support team for Oracle HR within a large South African bank. She has in-depth knowledge of how to use HR technology to enhance the employee life cycle, HR transactional functions and strategic decision making.

Debra’s broad experience across the engineering and financial services sectors has given her a solid understanding of business in South Africa. An experienced talent management solutions professional, she combines rich HR best-practices consulting know-how with her strong technical skills.
